Works 14/ 2012-2014: For this group of works, the output of the previous group of works 8/ is used as input and further processed. In a conventional 2D photo image processing programme, I create digital overlays and interferences until I get the impression of "something being there". I try to create a "quasi-photographic" impression. The generated images contain all the qualities expected of a photograph, black and white tonal values, sharpness, (a kind of proto-) realism, etc., except that nothing is photographed, the real-world motif is missing. The works are finished as inkjet prints, mounted and framed, using presentation techniques associated with photography.
